Bring the power of an entire weather bureau to your 6100i! Northstar has partnered with SIRIUS Marine Weather™ to deliver the most comprehensive weather display system available for the US. Covering inland U.S. waters and coastal data up to 200 miles into the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, the Northstar Satellite Weather system gives current weather info direct to your 6100i display.
The Northstar Satellite Weather system delivers :
- Sea surface temperatures: An indispensable fish habitat indicator. You can set upper and lower color limits to home in on the temperatures best suited for the fish you're after
- Precipitation, including Spot Weather readings using your cursor. Set course to steer around inclement weather, or chase the clear spots when fish are on the bite
- NowRAD and Canadian weather radar information on your chart. Independent radar confirmation of possible storm fronts to help you sort the clouds from possible sea clutter
- Text forecasts
- Animated displays
Northstar Weather System :
Northstar has teamed with Sirius Marine Radio to deliver real-time, graphical weather information directly to your 6100i chart screen.
The Northstar Weather System includes Receiver, Antenna and Cabling.
The Northstar Satellite Weather module works with your Northstar 6100i console, and requires a subscription to the SIRIUS Marine Weather™ service.
