Why do I have to click ADD TO CART to see my price?
Many of the manufactures whose products we sell enforce a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy. Being an authorized reseller of these products, we must abide by these policies. You may notice that many of the product pages do not contain our selling price. Instead we ask you to click on the "Add to Cart" button so that you can either place the order, or see the price you would pay if you were to place an order. We are often asked why we set up our product pages this way. The reason is that more and more of the manufacturers whose products we sell have now instituted a MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) Policy. This policy states that we cannot advertise a price lower than the manufacturers stated MAP price for each product. This puts us in an awkward position because we do sell products below the MAP price. These manufacturers do not dictate what price we SELL our products for. We simply have you enter our shopping cart (which is set up so the web pages cannot be found via search engines) so that you can either buy the product, or see the price you would pay if you did purchase it. What is your price matching policy?
If you manage to find a lower price for any item in our store, simply let us know. You will receive a lower price quote via email as well as instructions on how to order at this lower price. We will attempt to match the competitor's price effective on the day the order is placed. We will apply your discount before we charge your card (for this reason, all price match inquiries must be made in advance of order placement). Unfortunately we cannot honor any price match requests after an order has been placed due to constantly changing online prices. In addition, price matches will not be honored for any exchanged merchandise, only for new orders.
Our price policy applies to the total price of your order, so do not be fooled by sites that charge outrageous prices for shipping or accessories!. If you take all this into account, our total price will almost always be lower!
Please note: We reserve the right to not match eBay prices or sellers that are not authorized dealers of the brand they are selling. We reserve the right to not match prices for orders shipped internationally, and we do not match prices for orders billed to foreign credit cards. We also reserve the right to not match prices from stores that do not have the product(s) in stock. Our price guarantee is applicable to only one competitor per order and applies to the total price of your order, including the cost of all items and shipping. Our price guarantee excludes any sales taxes that must be paid. Price quotes are valid up to three business days after they are offered. Due to rapidly changing online prices, quotes may not be honored beyond this three day period, in which case the customer will be notified prior to order processing.
What if I want to return something?
Your Satisfaction is our top priority! We understand that sometimes you just aren't happy with something you purchase, whether in a physical store or online. You can return any item within 30 days of receipt. Returns must be in salable condition, with ALL original materials and packing and require a Return Authorization Number. You are responsible for return shipping and any shipping charges are not refundable except in the case of defective merchandise. (Please note...we do NOT resell returned merchandise here on our web site). Special order items, Software, Charts, Propellers, Marine Heads, Closeout Items and Inflatable Items are not returnable. Do you sell current products?
The products we sell are always the newest models and latest updates. We update our site with the latest products as they become available from the manufacturer. We do NOT sell ANY refurbished items.
How much will shipping cost?
Shipping costs are based on the costs charged to us by the manufacturer (shipping & handling) to deliver the product directly to you from their warehouse. All products are shipped via UPS, FedEx or DHL. Follow these steps to see the actual shipping charge:
- Place the item(s) in your cart with the "Add to Cart" button
- Click "checkout"
- Login or continue without registering
- Enter your shipping address and click "Continue"
You will see the shipping charge and total before being asked for credit card information. You then have the option of completing your order or canceling it. Do you ship Internationally?
Yes! We do ship internationally. We only accept Google Checkout for all International orders. Please inquire about your item before placing your order. We will send you a quote that includes shipping and request that you pay via Google Checkout. Most products cannot be directly exported and need to be sent to our office first and then shipped via a 3rd party shipper which takes about 2 weeks to arrive to you. An additional $20.00 shipping fee will be added to your order to cover this extra shipping cost.
Can I pay with a personal check?
Yes! Just select Check from the payment options. All checks should be made out to eMarine Supplies and must arrive within 1 week of your order date. Keep in mind that checks take 7-10 days to clear and your order will not ship until the check clears.
When will my credit card be charged?
eMarine Supplies' policy is to NOT charge you for your order until the product ships. You will receive status updates that will inform you when your order has shipped, you will be charged at that time.
What about paying with a Debit card?
Please be advised that banks do NOT treat debit or checking cards like a credit card; they can put two "holds" on your funds.
First, your funds are held for verification purposes each time you place an order. They are held a second time when we process your sale.
Please understand that there is nothing that we can do on our end to resolve this. These holds are internal banking functions of the bank that handles your card account. Additionally, be aware that a pre-authorization is NOT a charge; it only checks your account for available funds, holds those funds, and checks the address information you provided against the card company's records.
The "hold" on your funds will eventually drop off the account after a short timeframe (sometimes up to 10 days) that is determined by your bank's policies. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this banking procedure may cause you.
When should I expect delivery?
Place any order by 3:00 PM EST and all in stock items are guaranteed to ship THE SAME DAY! Virtually all our products leave the warehouse by the next business day after you order; many times it's faster than that. After the product leaves the warehouse, standard UPS shipping times apply, which, depending on your location and the volume being handled by UPS at the time and the shipping method chosen, is from one to seven business days within the USA, longer for international shipments.
What about overnight delivery?
Overnight and second and third day shipping is available for an additional shipping charge. Simply select select Next Day Air Saver, 2nd Day Air or 3 Day Select from the order page. Please note UPS does not count weekends in delivery times and none of the above shipping methods deliver on the weekend. What if I need warranty service?
All of our suppliers hold to the strictest standards of quality control, and all of our products are fully warranted by the manufacturer. If by chance you receive a product which is defective, the manufacturer's warranty information and service address will be clearly marked on or in the package you receive. If your product is damaged in shipping, the issue can quickly be resolved by notifying the shipper. How safe is my credit card information?
When you buy from eMarine Supplies, your credit card purchase is processed in real time by secure eCommerce servers run by Network Solutions. Then your order is encrypted before being sent to us. Your card couldn't be safer!
